Otter Lake Campground is located on 92-acres of land in the Hiawatha National Forest near Munising and minutes away from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The campground has a beautiful beach area with serene views of Otter Lake and has direct access to the off-road trail system. The family-friendly campground offers full hookup and rustic sites.

The campground is under new ownership as of December 2020. Nick and Ellen Oppenheim, along with their son, recently moved to the Munising area to pursue an adventurous lifestyle in the great outdoors.

“After many years working as an electrician and teacher, they decided to trade in their careers for an exciting new experience,” the Otter Lake Campground website states. “As avid campers themselves, they appreciate the outdoors, and the time camping allows family to spend together.”

Otter Lake Campground is open from April through October and has paddle boat, canoe, kayak, and rowboat rentals available on-site. There’s also a volleyball court, basketball, dog walking trail, and much more. Visit www.otterlakemichigan.com for more information.

Located just outside of Munising along H-58 near Pictured Rocks Golf Course, Pictured Rocks Cabins are just minutes away from sandy beaches, waterfalls, boat and kayak tours, and many other area attractions.

According to Pictured Rocks Cabins website, the first cabin was built in 2018 and is a duplex with two separate units in the one cabin. Each unit has its own entry, own private bathroom, and a comfortable pillow top king size bed. Each room has a 50-inch or larger Smart TV with cable, WIFI, air conditioning, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, toaster, outdoor gas grill, and limited kitchen supplies for its guests to use, the website states.

The second cabin was built in 2020 and is much like the first cabin with some bonus upgrades. Cabin #2 boast the same amenities as Cabin#1, like comfortable pillow top king beds, to the outdoor gas grills, but we've also added more square footage per room, gas fireplaces, love seats and porch swings on the covered porch, according to the website.

Pictured Rocks Cabins is conveniently located next to Pictured Rocks Trading Co., which is open from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of color season and offers 24-rotating flavors of Chocolate Shoppe Super Premium Ice Cream, cold drinks, and a great variety of souvenirs including hiking stick medallions, pins & patches, t-shirts, sweatshirts, gifts, books, local artisans and more.
